Hi, I'm Jason, a.k.a. TheToneRanger:) I'm a longtime guitar and tone aficionado. As a lifelong musician and studio-head, I have found myself diving deep into the world of digital capture technology. With 25 years of recording experience and a bunch of cool analog gear, I am excited to find new ways to share what I have with you!

I offer a wide range of vintage and boutique studio captures and impulse responses for your favorite digital guitar amp platforms. My IRs and captures are meticulously crafted using some of the best mics, preamps, and analog gear on the planet. Add to that many years of experience engineering great tone in studio and live settings, and TheToneRanger has your tone needs covered!
How will I receive my IRs, captures or presets?
Here is how it works:
FOR QUAD/NANO CORTEX PURCHASES:
1 Follow me (TheToneRanger) on the Cortex Cloud: https://neuraldsp.com/cloud/u/TheToneRanger
2 Add your Cortex Cloud handle in the comments section of the checkout process and I will follow you on the cloud
3 I will send your premium preset(s) which will include all purchased premium captures account as soon
FOR QUAD/NANO CORTEX PURCHASES:
1 Follow me (TheToneRanger) on the Cortex Cloud: https://neuraldsp.com/cloud/u/TheToneRanger
2 Add your Cortex Cloud handle in the comments section of the checkout process and I will follow you on the cloud
3 I will send your premium preset(s) which will include all purchased premium captures account as soon as possible after you checkout (normal processing time will be same day, but in some cases, a little more time may be necessary)
4 Go to your personal Cortex Cloud page and find the “Shared With Me” tab. You can mark your purchased capture packs for download there. Then, on your Quad Cortex, navigate to the download folder and download your sweet new tones! (On the Nano Cortex, you can load your favorite Tone Ranger captures via bluetooth and the Cortex Cloud app)

All IR and TONEX packs are packaged in a ZIP file that you can download immediately after checkout
